Sawyer returned from CHKD earlier this evening after they were able to lower his blood pressure. It's still high, but not as dangerously high as it has been these last few days.
Unfortunately, we will be headed back to the hospital early in the moring. During dialysis tonight, Sawyer started having pain in his left shoulder and belly. It continued throughout the evening. Around 9PM, the pain became excruciating. Sawyer was inconsolable as he was screaming, crying out, and literally begging for relief.
Eventually, the pain did subside after we pulled the plug on his dialysis. However, It was an awful, heart-wrenching sight watching my boy struggle tonight. I'm getting angry and unsettled again just thinking about it.
Please Lord. Have mercy on my son. Free him from this horrible thing that has him pinned down. No more, please.

Please Dear God be with this surgery today. Give the doctors the wisdom and knowledge they need to make this problem bearable for Sawyer. Lord, we ask that Your will be done in this little guy. We pray Lord that you would ease the pain he is going through. Calm him; mind, body, and soul. Provide Your hand of comfort to his Mom and Dad. They need to see you today to give them strength as they go through this surgery. In Jesus Name we Pray, Amen.

frustrated that this is still such a battle for you all, Praying and not understanding what God's plan is, holding on to the fact He must have this all in his control and plan.....Praying Sawyer will recover, heal and be such a strong warrior!
